FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: parachute with a canopy (3) is assembled from individual thermal plates and it has an end flat circular wall (6), a side wall (5) in the form of a truncated cone, a side cylindrical wall (4) and hoses (7) above the canopy, communicated with the holes in the end wall (6). The canopy (3) is provided with stiffening ribs (12). A descent payload (1) with a thermal shield (9) is connected to the canopy by a central pipe (8) fitted with a charge (10) to break the pipe (when landing) at the screw connections (11) of its parts. For preliminary slowdown of the parachute to acceptable speeds of atmosphere entry, descent modules (2) with jet engines installed on the end-edge of the cylindrical wall (4) are provided. Rigging of the parachute is carried out in orbit in an airtight space between the space film balls covering the space station and the assembly equipment (cabins with manipulators). Before landing, the film is cut, releasing the parachute.
EFFECT: improved processability and safety of the rigging process of the parachute and expanding the fleet of means of payload delivery from orbit to Earth.
