FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: barrier segment of refiner plate for mechanical milling of lignocellulosic material in the refiner having opposed refiner plates. The refiner plate segment comprises at least one refining zone, a plurality of grooves in at least one said refining zone, and at least two full-profile partitions in at least one of the grooves. The full-profile partition is a partition located in the groove so that the bottom of the partition is essentially flat lower groove surface, and the top of the partition is located at the same height, which is the upper part of the knife of the refiner plate segment or the surface of the refiner plate segment. The full-profile partitions define segments of grooves located between the full-profile partitions.
EFFECT: each groove segment has a length not exceeding approximately 30 mm in direction from the inner periphery to the outer periphery of the refiner plate segment.
