SUBSTANCE: method for presenting applications that are currently running on the terminal comprises the following stages: receiving the active index of each of the applications that are currently running; deciding whether the active index of each application is greater than or equal to the threshold value; defining applications, each of which has an active index that is greater than or equal to the threshold value, as the first group of applications; defining applications, each of which has an active index that is less than the threshold value, as the second group of applications; ranking the applications that are currently running on the basis of active indexes; and presenting applications that are currently running in accordance with the result of the ranking. The active index is the frequency at which the application is launched for each of the applications that are currently running. The ranking of applications in each group is based on at least one of two measurements: application launch time and active application indexes.
