COMBAT VEHICLE CREW PROTECTION SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: military equipment, designed for protection of tank crew. SUBSTANCE: the system has means for protection against bad weather, anti-shock and anti-noise means, power source and an interphone with headsets connected to it, built in the headsets are telephones and laryngophones. The system differs from the known ones by the fact that it uses a generator, whose input is connected to the output of the power source, sensor - gas analyzer, two controllable switches, their switching condition transducer, audio frequency signal source, electromagnetic relays with spring-loaded caps on their armatures installed on each headset, touching the head of the respective crew member. Installed on the commander's workplace is a pilot-signaling panel with a light indicator of the sensor- gas analyzer and light indicators of each crew member, switching equipment for provision of coupling of the standard and introduced components. EFFECT: enhanced safety and readiness for action of crews, survivability of combat vehicles; enhanced reliability of functioning of crews by 10 to 15%. 4 cl, 1 dwg
