FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of compressor construction, namely screw compressors of low capacity. Screw compressor comprises housing 1 with working chamber, leading rotor 2 and driven rotor installed in housing 1, the axial gas force compensating elements consisting of at least two radial-thrust rolling bearings 6, 7 with axial pre-tension, and elements for compensating radial gas forces, which are rotatably supported on the rolling bearing 4, 5, made in the form of additional rolling bearings 9, 10. Each of bearings 9, 10 is installed in the additional bore of body 1 with the possibility of moving the bearing in the direction opposite to the action of the radial gas forces. Between body 1 and outer casing of each of bearings 9, 10, loading hollow is formed, communicating with the pressure source on the side opposite to the action of the radial gas forces.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving the reliability of operation, durability and efficiency of a screw compressor.
