FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: screw compressor comprises casing with gas suction and delivery channels, delivery spool-valve regulator including valve, valve hydraulic drive and valve position indicator, drive and driven rotors 9 and 10 running in thrust bearings fitted in casing chamber, axial force compensators fitted on said rotors comprising thrust bearings 12 fitted on delivery side and balance chambers 13 arranged on suction side with load spaces communicated with pressure source. Output end of rotor 9 is arranged on delivery side. Valve hydraulic drive is fitted on casing with help of spacers on suction side. Balance chambers 13 are arranged on rotor extensions in load chambers to allow pressure action on entire working surface. Thrust bearings are fitted in casing exposed space with suction pressure.

EFFECT: efficient axial force compensation at high pressure differences and suction pressures.
