FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of compressor construction, namely screw compressors of low capacity. Screw compressor comprises housing 1 with working chamber, leading rotor 2 and driven rotor installed in the housing 1, rotationally supported on the rolling bearing 4, 5 and compensation devices for radial gas forces, compensation elements of the axial gas forces, consisting of at least two radial thrust bearings 6, 7 with axial preload fitted to each rotor and discharge piston 8 mounted on at least one of the rotors. Each compensation device is made in the form of segmented loading shoe 9, 10 operating on the principle of sliding friction bearing. Each shoe 9, 10 abuts against one of the cylindrical rotor journal and is installed in body 1 to form loading hollow for communicating with the pressure source on the side opposite to the action of the radial gas forces.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the reliability and durability of bearings, as well as increasing the efficiency of the compressor.
