FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: screw compressor consists of case with working chamber and increasing and decreasing spaces in working chamber, of engaged driving and driven rotor 4 and 5 and of sliding capacity regulator installed in case. The case has a cylinder cavity encasing slide 9 of the capacity regulator, and cavities 14 filled with oil and arranged in two rows correspondingly under driving and driven rotors 4 and 5. Filled with oil cavities 14 are communicated with the cylinder cavity and are isolated from it and from one another when slide 9 is closed. Also, the cavities 14 are connected to the working chamber of the compressor via slit openings 15 made at angles to axes of rotors 4 and 5 corresponding to incline angles of corresponding rotors screw line.
EFFECT: raised efficiency in capacity regulation, expanded functionality of screw compressor with slide capacity regulator, increased power characteristics, reliability and service life of screw compressor, and improved weight-dimension indices.
