SUBSTANCE: in order to provide a scalable packet processing of the user data in accordance with the number of CPU cores, the queue selector is equipped with a means of receiving user data; a means of extracting the IP addresses of the user located in the payload packet; a means of calculating/selecting a hash-value for the extracted IP address of the user and based on that hash-value, the queue number is selected in which the received packet must be saved; a means of determining from the definition table that holds the appropriate intensity of the CPU use for each of the plurality of CPU cores, and it is determined based on the intensity of the CPU use, whether it is necessary to set the selected queue number as the queue number in which the received packet must be saved; and a means of preserving the received packet on a queue that has a selected queue number.
EFFECT: improving the performance of processing the user data by distributing the user data packets over multiple CPU cores.
