SUBSTANCE: method and device for moving content on a screen in a terminal in which an initial threshold area, that surrounds the original contact point above the displayed content, is set. The drag movement is detected from the original contact point to the current contact point that violates the initial threshold area. Content moves in the direction of the drag movement if the current contact point is outside the predefined X and Y channels. Content moves only in the X or Y direction if the current contact point is within the X or Y channel, respectively.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of content moving.
