FIELD: heating system.

SUBSTANCE: furnace comprises pipes (2) for supplying gaseous feedstock from top to bottom, filled with a catalyst for converting the gaseous feedstock into a final product in the form of a synthesis gas with its removal and flue gases. Pipes (2) are located inside the furnace (1). The burners (3a) are mounted on the roof (1b) of the furnace (1) between the pipes (2). The side burners (3b) are mounted on the roof (1b) of the furnace (1) between the pipes (2) and the wall (1a) of the furnace (1). The side burners (3b) are located on the roof (1b) of the furnace (1) at a distance from the furnace wall (1a) of less than 25% of the distance from the central axis of the side burner (3b) to the outermost pipe (2). The side burners (3b) have a power of 45-60% of the burner output (3a) and an input speed of 90 to 110% of the burner input speed (3a).

EFFECT: preventing the effect of bending the side flares towards the center and preventing overheating of the pipes located at the walls of the furnace.
