FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of homogenisation of heat distribution, as well as reduction of the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the combustion products when operating an industrial furnace. The method of homogenisation of heat distribution as well as reduction of the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the combustion products when operating an industrial furnace with one burner using air as an oxidant. Through the tuyere into the furnace the oxidant is supplied, comprising 50% oxygen gas. The total amount of oxygen supplied is consistent with the amount of fuel supplied through the air burner, at that 40% of the supplied oxygen is injected through the additional oxidant, the tuyere is placed at a distance of 0.3 meters from the air burner, the additional oxidant flow to the furnace is provided through the tuyere with a velocity of sound, the additional oxidant is supplied only when the air burner is operated with a certain minimal or higher power.
EFFECT: ensuring the temperature uniformity throughout the volume of the furnace.
