FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, in particular to cast iron compositions, which can be used to manufacture parts of thermal units. Cast iron contains, wt%: carbon 3.0–3.6; silicon 2.8–3.4; manganese 2.2–3.2; aluminium 1.3–1.7; chrome 3.4–4.5; nickel 1.2–2.5; tungsten 1.8–2.8; niobium 0.5–1.0; zirconium 0.5–0.8; iron – the balance.
EFFECT: technical result is higher heat resistance of cast iron.
