SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of metallurgy, namely to the compositions of wear-resistant alloys based on iron, which can be used for the manufacturing of the parts that operate under the conditions of friction and increased wear. Wear-resistant iron-based alloy contains, wt %: carbon 2.0–3.5; manganese 20.0–24.0; titanium 0.01–0.03; tungsten 0.1–0.3; silver 0.01–0.03; copper 1.0–1.4; aluminum 1.0–1.15; iron – the rest.
EFFECT: raised wear resistance of alloy.
