SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of metallurgy, namely to the compositions of wear-resistant alloys based on iron, which can be used for the manufacturing of the parts that operate under the conditions of friction and increased wear. Wear-resistant iron-based alloy contains, wt%: carbon 3.0–3.5; manganese 20.0–24.0; tantalum 1.0–1.4; copper 1.6–2.0; boron 0.15–0.2; iron – the rest.
EFFECT: raised wear resistance of alloy.
