SUBSTANCE: directing the oscilloscope currents from the first same terminals of the three-channel oscilloscope, powered from the channels of the DC voltage source, over the arms of the contacts of the contactor located on the two linear sides of the winding of the three-phase transformer, for example AB and CB, respectively through the first two terminals of the transformer, for example A and C To the third terminal B through the corresponding arms of the contacts of the contactor. Moreover, between the first terminals of the transformer, the same potential is artificially maintained by connecting them to the common terminal of the channels of the DC voltage source. In this case, the channels of the DC voltage source are connected respectively to the second similar terminals of the three-channel oscillograph. The device for carrying out the method comprises a three-channel DC voltage source, a three-channel digital oscilloscope, a test power three-phase transformer with a load-regulated voltage regulator whose high-voltage winding is connected in a triangle and a connecting multifilamentary cable.

EFFECT: reduction of labour and time by eliminating the need to install insulating spacers between contacts on the shoulders of the contactor.
