SUBSTANCE: radiological imaging device contains a plurality of elements that convert radiation to light; a reflector layer located around the plurality of the radiation converting elements; the reflector layer is wrapped around the plurality of the radiation converting elements, without the adhesive between the radiation converting elements and the reflector layer, the reflector layer includes protruding dividing elements or structures effectively ensuring an air gap between the reflector layer and the radiation converting elements, sufficient to support total internal reflection at the inner surface of the radiation converting elements.

EFFECT: increasing the spatial resolution of the device.
