SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to a network gaming system and a method with a central true random number generator ("TRNG") for generating random numbers ("RNS"). RNs are sent to electronic gaming machines ("EGM") over the network and used to determine the outcome of the game. System and method are configured to collect requests for RN from EGM in batches that are coordinated by the server-based gaming service ("SBG-service"), where the SBG service receives RN requests from EGM and routes the requests in batches to the central true random number generator request handler ("TRNGRH") service. Central TRNGRH service responds to the SBG service with a batch of RNs, that are then distributed to the EGM within an acceptable response time.

EFFECT: load reduction of data traffic to the network is achieved, as well as increase in efficiency of the random number generator when generating a set of random numbers at one time, while the response time for each of the collected requests does not exceed the specified limit.
