FIELD: navigation system.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway automation and telemetry systems for controlling train movement. Train navigation system includes a train control system for embedding in a train and establishing a train movement strategy, said train control system including a processor and an antenna connected to the processor for receiving a train protection signal, comprising the time to provide interference from a roadside repeater. Furthermore, the processor is programmed to determine if the train movement strategy corresponds to the train protection signal when received by the antenna from the roadside repeater.
