FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: fibre-optic distribution element includes: a chassis defining an internal section; a movable tray configured to slide from the inside of the chassis into the position in which it is located partially outside the chassis; a sliding mechanism including a radius limiter, moving synchronized relative to the chassis and the tray, and connecting the movable tray to the chassis. Each tray includes hinged frame members that rotate about the axis perpendicular to the moving direction of the movable tray and each frame member forms a plurality of adapters for receiving the connectors. The specified plurality of adapters defines a line parallel to the direction of the movable tray, and the frame member also includes an access area attached to each port of the adapter to access the connector on the top and bottom of each frame member; the cables entering or exiting the movable tray, follow the S-shaped passage so that they pass from the outer side of the movable tray to the movable radius limiter in the first direction, wind around the radius limiter in the second direction and head back into the tray to the plurality of the adapters in the third direction.
EFFECT: increasing the density of laying fibre-optic cables.
