SUBSTANCE: method contains authentication of the device user and smart card. The device communicates with the service provider via a host computer. In the method a secure communication tunnel is initiated between the user's device and the service provider, where the user's smart card uses an unpredictable number accepted through the secure communication tunnel from the service provider and other settings related to the session to generate smart card identification, which is sent to the service provider via the secure communication tunnel, thus providing a secure channel for authentication of the mentioned user and the mentioned smart card to the mentioned service provider, not based on any information of the smart card or information entered by user. Host computer displays a form designed to be filled with detailed transaction information which is sent to the device that adds detailed transaction information, which is only in the device, in this form, and passes this form through the secure communication tunnel to the service provider.
