SUBSTANCE: method for performing electronic payments comprising the following steps of: obtaining, at a terminal node associated with a physical access point, payment device data from a one-time payment device that does not comply with the international payment industry standards; identifying said payment device data as outgoing from said one-time payment device not complying with international payment industry standards; in response to said identification step, the said payment device data originating from said one-time payment device that not complying with the international payment industry standards is converted into an authorization request or access request. The said authorization request or access request has a format complying with payment devices that comply with international payment industry standards; said authorization request or access request are sent to the payment infrastructure configured to process said authorization request or access request in the specified format complying with said payment devices comply with the international payment industry standards but not having the ability to process said one-time payment device not complying with international payment industry standards. At said step of sending, said payment infrastructure has a predetermined command structure, and said payment devices complying with international payment industry standards are configured to support a key for responding to request; and at the said receiving step, said one-time payment device that does not comply with international payment industry standards has fixed functions incompatible with the specified command structure of said payment infrastructure, and does not have the ability to support the key for responding to said request.
