FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to agents having an antimicrobial effect, and can be used to prevent airborne infection contamination and the upper respiratory tract individual protection from bacterial and / or viral contaminants. Technical result is achieved by applying of 0.2–4 mcg (in terms of zinc) of soluble zinc compounds to the facial medical mask by the method of finely dispersed spraying, at that the compounds, applied to the outer and / or middle layers of the face mask, are able to move (adsorption-desorption) between the mask layers under the influence of air masses of the inhaled and exhaled air, which ensures the lasting of antimicrobial activity.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the creation of an effective agent in the form of a preventive facial mask having antimicrobial and adsorption-desorption activity.
