FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: composite material for protection against electromagnetic radiation, consisting of polymer base with distributed in it particles of Fe-Cu-Nb-Si-B system alloy represents a multilayer design, each layer of which is made of specified composition, and the content of the alloy particles in each layer is 70-90 wt % and is limited to a specific range of particle sizes from a continuous series of 1-200 mcm with the increase of particle dimension in each subsequent layer, amorphous ribbon of Fe-Cu-Nb-Si-B alloy system is used as the first layer. The method of manufacturing composite material, including radar absorbing layers stacking, starting with the very thick layer as far as the thickness of the layers, the first layer is stacked from the amorphous ribbon of Fe-Cu-Nb-Si-B alloy system, and subsequent layers are stacked on the basis of the thickness of each subsequent layer, which is calculated by the formula: . The final (outer) layer is made of a binder-a dielectric with no filler.
EFFECT: increased protection.
