FIELD: fabrics.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of graphitised and activated carbon fibres and fabrics exhibiting high heat resistance and electrical conductivity. The heat-protective electrically conductive coating is applied onto carbon fibres and fabrics by means of plasma spraying of a cermet composition from a mechanical powder mixture containing the following components, % wt.: nichrome 5 to 15, zirconium dioxide stabilised with yttrium oxide 15 to 5, aluminium 50, nickel aluminium 10, amorphous soft magnetic alloy (Co-Fe-Ni-Cu-Nb-Si-B) 20.

EFFECT: reduction in the depth of penetration of electromagnetic emission into highly activated carbon tapes and fabrics due to the increase in the magnetic permeability of the coating with the maintained high indicators of heat resistance, capacitance, and electrical conductivity.
