FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: ultrasound system contains: a 3D ultrasonic imaging probe, including a two-dimensional matrix sensor; a needle guide attached to the imaging probe with a predetermined orientation relative to the imaging probe. The needle guide has a plurality of needle insertion positions for guiding a plurality of needles for insertion into the interior of the space region by means of different needle insertion planes so that the first needle insertion plane and the second needle insertion plane of the needle insertion planes are oriented at different angles relative to the reference image plane orthogonal to the two-dimensional matrix sensor. The ultrasound system is connected to the probe and configured to control a 3D ultrasound imaging probe to form a plurality of 2D images simultaneously formed from image planes corresponding to different needle insertion planes.
EFFECT: application of the invention allows to provide a wider area of needle insertion.
