FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to process for producing gasoline fractions of hydrocarbons by contacting olefin-containing fractions with zeolite-containing catalyst. ZSM-5 type catalyst with a deactivated external surface is used, obtained by treatment of the Z-form Z-5-form with tetraethoxysilane in the molding step, with the addition of boehmite and subsequent calcination, and the butene-butylene fraction used as the olefin-contacting temperature is increased gradually from 300 to 450 °C at a volumetric feed rate in the range of from 1 to 6 h-1.

EFFECT: proposed process allows a high degree of selectivity to be obtained in preparation of fraction C5+ and increase in regeneration range of catalyst.
