SUBSTANCE: wheel of a rail vehicle has a brake disc and a hub on which carries friction rings, fixed by means of connecting devices on the hub. Each friction ring contains several spring elements, arranged along its circumference, which are located in the assembled state of the brake disc between the friction rings and the hub. Each friction ring contains ribs on the hub side, which are located on the friction ring in patterns. The friction rings have two different rib patterns, respectively.
EFFECT: reduction of hub wear and increase in the service life of the brake disc.
