FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the method for processing of the male section of tubing thread connection, and can be used in the construction of oil, gas and gas condensate wells. The method includes coating of the tubing. The coating is applied by a burner using the high-velocity oxygen fuel process. A mixture of self-fluxing alloy of Ni-Cr-B-Si-Mo system and abrasive powder in the ratio of 3.4-3.6:1 or a mixture of WC/Co/Cr and antifriction additive in the ratio of 1:1 are used as a coating.
EFFECT: increasing the coating uniformity, increasing the tightness of the thread connection, wear resistance, decreasing the coating roughness, improving the antifriction properties providing the layer thickness within the tolerance for the thread profile.
