SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of obtaining solutions of high-molecular compounds based on polyacrylamide (PAA) with a high viscosity and consequently an increased precipitation capacity in cleaning the suspensions from a solid phase. The method of producing aqueous solutions of flocculants by preparing the aqueous solutions of polyacrylamide includes the use of distilled water in the preparation of the aqueous solutions of polyacrylamide, pre-treated with microwave (MWI) with a frequency of 2.45 GHz, a power of 700 W for 5-10 s.

EFFECT: reduction of the polymer dissolution time in water, increase in the molecular weight of the initial polyacrylamide, increase in the precipitation capacity.
