FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method is carried out by reacting oleic or stearic acids with glycerol in the presence of an alkaline earth metal derivative with the distillation of reaction water. Herewith calcium hydroxide is used as an alkaline earth metal derivative. Acid is poured to the mixture of glycerol and calcium hydroxide pre-heated at 110°C for 1 h, and the distillation of reaction water is carried out by the azeotropic distillation using toluene at a molar ratio of acid: glycerol: calcium hydroxide, equal to 4:2:1.
EFFECT: simplification of the method of producing metal-containing lubricants and increasing the properties of the lubricant on the polymer composition.
