SUBSTANCE: cardiac valve prosthesis contains an annular body 1 with rounded protrusions 2 and internal stoppers 3 and 4 of the rotation of locking flaps 5 with recesses 6 located on the rounded protrusions 2. Each recess 6 has a concave bottom 7 and two concave support walls 8 and 9 located opposite each other for alternate interaction with the rounded protrusion 2 having a radius r of surface curvature equal to the radius R of surface curvature of the support walls 8 and 9. The maximum distance between the support walls 8 and 9 is 0.15-0.25 mm greater than the maximum transverse dimension of the rounded protrusion 2. The depth H of the recess 6 is 0.1-0.2 mm greater than the height h of the rounded protrusion 2.

EFFECT: device allows to increase the period of trouble-free operation of the prosthetic cardiac valve due to the continuity of blood flow around the surfaces of its hinge mechanisms that have a linear contact between moving parts.
