FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has ring-shaped casing and two cusps. Each cusp has ascending, descending, lateral surface and the surface of closing. The cusps are connected with the ring-shaped casing by means of hinged pivot member composed of two protrusions two slits engaged to each other. The protrusions are positioned on the diametrically opposite areas of the casing and are restricted by supporting and fitting surfaces. The slits are made on opposite sides of the lateral surface of each cusp having supporting and fitting surfaces engaged with the corresponding protrusions surfaces. Each protrusion has stopper for checking cusp rotation relative to the casing axis. Bevels are produced in every cusp slit placed on the side relative to the diameter plane being in perpendicular relation to the surface of cusps closing to form recesses for placing stoppers checking cusp rotation. Method for assembling the valve is applied. EFFECT: improved reliability and service life properties; improved thrombus formation resistance properties. 5 cl, 17 dwg
