FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: protective element contains a substrate of transparent polymer, a layer with the modulation of the refractive index, which is a volume hologram. On the specified layer, a coating on at least a part of the layer with the modulation of the refractive index, containing the transition metal particles in the form of plates with the maximum size of the edge length of 15 up to 600 nm and the thickness of 2 to 40 nm, and a binder. The layer coating further includes an embossed relief microstructure of the surface. Metal is selected from the group consisting of Cu and Ag. The ratio of the particles of the transition metal to the binder is 10:1 to 1:100. Moreover, the protective element displays a colour change depending on the viewing angle.
EFFECT: improving the efficiency of the protective element.
