SUBSTANCE: in the method, a test signal is supplied to a wire loop attached to the rail, above which the receiving coil is placed at a predetermined distance, and the EMF in the receiving coil is measured. Preliminary, the calculated value of the magnetic field strength in the receiving coil location zone is determined using the specified current value in the loop and the distance between the loop and the center axis of receiving coil. Wherein, after the test signal with a given current value is fed into the wire loop, the magnetic field strength in the receiving coil location zone is measured and the magnitude of the magnetic field strength in this zone is changed by changing the current in the wire loop to a value at which the measured magnetic field strength is equal to the calculated value, after which the receiving coil is placed in the zone of its location and the EMF induced in it is measured and the received code of the test signal is fixed, of which is judged on the proper operation of the automatic cab signalling facility.

EFFECT: increase of reliability of checkout of automatic cab signalling.
