FIELD: diagnostic tools.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of diagnostics of relay onboard equipment ALS. Device comprises a data input unit, a control unit, a test signal generation unit, a report generation unit, a memory unit and ALS on-board hardware in locomotive receiving coils, a locomotive amplifier and a locomotive decoder, first and second inductors, a first connection unit, a monitoring and analysis unit, a prediction unit, wherein to the outputs of the test signal generating unit the first inductor and the second inductor are switched on, the current direction in which changes depending on the type of check performed. At that, the first inductor is inductively connected to the first receiving coil, and the second inductor is connected to the second receiving coil, to on-board equipment of automatic locomotive signaling (ALS) is connected first connection device, allowing to increase the onboard equipment set diagnostics depth due to the signals reading from the inputs and outputs of each of its units, by its outputs connected to the monitoring and analysis unit, control and analysis unit by its outputs is connected to report generation unit and prediction unit, wherein outputs of prediction unit are connected to corresponding inputs of report generation unit.
