SUBSTANCE: invention relates to furniture production, in particular soft furniture, and can be used in the manufacture of transformable soft furniture. Essence of the claimed method of coupling, in transformable soft furniture, a seat and a drawbar intended for moving a seat, is that two holes are made in the seat from the front or from the lateral side, connecting the space located between the frame members of the seat with the outside, the drawbar is passed through the holes so that a part of the drawbar is in the space located between the frame members of the seat and part of the drawbar is located outside the seat. In the space located between the frame members of the seat, a return member is placed that is mated with the seat and with the drawbar so that the return member draws a portion of the drawbar into the space located between the seat frame members, and draws to the seat the remaining part of the drawbar from the outside, located between the holes, and the drawbar is connected to the seat with the possibility of removing part of the drawbar to the outside.

EFFECT: exclusion in the transformable soft furniture of loose hanging of the drawbar designed to move the seat, the possibility of concealed placement of a part of the drawbar intended for moving the seat, while the drawbar is not being used.
