FIELD: furniture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of seating furniture for sitting or lying, particularly transformable sofa beds and armchair-beds consisting of three sections. Transformable three-section furniture for sitting or lying comprises three sections, the first and second sections, when the furniture is folded, act as a backrest, and the third section acts as a seat, the frame consisting of two sidewalls fastened together by a bridge on which the first section is pivotally mounted, through the hinges connected to the second section, which, in turn, is connected through hinges to the third section, the three sections are arranged to fix certain positions, wherein at least two legs are mounted on the third section, at least one leg is rigidly mounted near the junction of the third section with the second section and is provided with a lock. In the particular case of the transformable three-section furniture for sitting and lying, the third section is equipped with zigzag springs.
EFFECT: increase maintainability, increase reliability and ease of use.
