FIELD: furniture industry, in particular, production of upholstered furniture.
SUBSTANCE: transformable furniture has carcass with immovable rear panel, basic and retractable parts movable relative to one another and defining surface for seating and lying. Basic part comprises frame mounted on legs and retractable part comprises retractable frame, is disposed within basic part so as to be retracted on supports between legs of basic part, and has members for effectuating movement thereof. Basic part frame is furnished with at least one pair of C-shaped guiding bars and is immovably located in receptacle of rear panel. Members for moving retractable part of carcass are formed as longitudinal strips disposed in C-shaped guiding bars of carcass basic part frame. Retractable part is furnished with stop adapted for restricting retraction thereof and cooperating with retainer mounted on basic part of carcass.
EFFECT: simplified construction and manufacture process, and convenient usage.
