FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves dividing process gas flow into at least two process gas flows, supplying ozone in order to contact at least one of separated process gas flows for oxidation of impurities in the given gas flow and supplying at least one of process gas flows contacting ozone to the scrubber for removing oxidised impurities from gas flows. The device includes a gas conduit for releasing process gas flow from combustion exhaust products, connected to a gas scrubber for receiving a flow of process gas, containing impurities, a source of ozone, installed in the first zone of the flow of the process gas of the scrubber for selective mixing with the flow of the process gas, and the second zone of the scrubber process gas flow, in which there is no ozone, and ozone, mixed with the flow of the process gas in the first zone, which oxidizes the nitrogen oxides present in the first zone of the flow of the process gas.
EFFECT: efficient removal of impurities, achievement of ultra-low concentrations of nitrogen oxides in purified flow.
