INSTALLATION FOR PROCESSING OF RADIOACTIVE WASTES Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G21F9/00

Abstract RU 2667149 C1

FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear power engineering. Plant for processing radioactive waste includes a waste loading unit, a plasma shaft furnace, a device for supplying air to the furnace and a pyrolysis combustion chamber, evaporative heat exchanger, a gas cleaning system containing a bag filter, a heat exchanger and a scrubber, pumps and tanks for reagents and refined products, and fittings. Plant is provided with at least one control module and an electrically connected with it module for monitoring the slag discharge assembly, a module for monitoring the state of the internal environment, the equipment status module and at least one gas analysis module, a plasma shaft furnace, a slag melt box and electrical equipment for supplying air to the furnace and a pyrolysis combustion chamber. Control module is electrically connected to the electrical equipment of the waste loading unit. Module for monitoring the slag discharge assembly is electrically connected to the electrical equipment of the slag discharge assembly.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide an adaptive operating mode of the plant, where radioactive wastes of different activity levels are processed automatically.
