FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: antiskid stud comprises an antiskid stud body and an antiskid stud pin (1) installed therein, which contains the upper part (2), at least partially projecting from the stud body or hovering over it, with the upper side (2A) forming a rolling surface. The upper part (2) is represented by a body, whose lateral surface follows the outer contour of the upper side (2a). The upper part (2) of the antiskid stud pin (1) is represented by a body elongated in the horizontal projection on its top side (2A), with a length (l), which is from 1.3 to 2.4 times greater than its greatest width (b). The body continually increases in width on at least more than half of its length (l), and has no symmetry planes at all, or has only on symmetry plane (4) bisecting the upper part (2) of the antiskid stud pin (1) perpendicular to the upper side (2A) along their length.

EFFECT: reducing the weight of the antiskid stud without degrading the gripping characteristics of the tire with snow and ice.
