The connecting rod has a key and a rack on the upper edge. The rotatable latch holds the firing hammer guard. The rotating gear has teeth on a part of its circumference and a flat section on the other part of its circumference.
EFFECT: gun holding in the holster, gun loading without removing from the holster.
