PISTOL HOLSTER Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: small arms, applicable in production of holsters designed for carrying and bringing to complete combat readiness of pistols of various systems with a loaded magazine with the use of one hand.

SUBSTANCE: the pistol holster has a housing, having in cross section the shape of an arc, fastener on the belt, applicable for holding the pistol in the holster. The housing is made movable relative to the fastener on the belt, on the side wall of the housing there is a through slot for placement in it of the guide portion of the fastener on the belt, the fastener on the belt is provided with a stop for the bolt located inside the holster housing and having a slot for the pistol barrel, as well as a mechanism for return of the housing to the initial position. Besides, in the lower part the housing has a cavity designed for placement of the trigger bow in it and having the shape of an arc in cross-section, the arc of the upper and lower parts of the housing are interconnected by smooth junctions. Besides, skids are made at the level of position of the lower edges of the pistol-bolt for holding the pistol. The mechanism for return of the holster housing to the initial position is made in the form of a cylindrical spring, whose one end is attached to the front end face part of the housing, and the second one- to the screw screwed in the body of the component of the fastener on the belt in its middle part and engageable with the lug on the holster housing in the extreme lower position of the housing. The component of the fastener on the belt is provided with a means for change over of the safety device installed on its inner side wall. The means for change-over of the safety device is made in the form of a spring-loaded catch turning the flag indicator of the safety device to the combat position at taking the pistol out of the holster, used also for fixation of the pistol laid in the holster.

EFFECT: provided reliable and safe carrying and using of pistol.
