FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drilling equipment, in particular to the base of a mobile drilling rig derrick. In particular, a telescopic sub-derrick-base of a drilling rig is proposed comprising: the first and the second laterally-spaced telescopic box-shaped sub-derrick modules. Herewith each of these modules contains: a lower box of the sub-derrick base; an upper box of the sub-derrick base and a lifting means for telescopic lifting and lowering the upper box of the sub-derrick base with respect to the lower box of the sub-derrick base. Moreover, the upper box of the sub-derrick base contains a number of structural elements, which are assembled to form an essentially open internal space and an open bottom frame. Open internal space is dimensioned to allow at least a portion of the lower box of the sub-derrick base to be received through the essentially open internal space, when the upper box of the sub-derrick base is telescopically raised and lowered relative to the corresponding lower box of the sub-derrick base. In addition, each of the first and the second telescopic box modules of the sub-derrick base is configured to allow the telescopic sub-derrick base to move horizontally along the ground near the well insertion point at least in the transverse direction and in the longitudinal direction above the wellhead equipment installed above the borehole insertion point when the upper boxes of the sub-derrick base are located in the raised configuration. Herewith the transverse direction is in fact perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, which is parallel to each of the first and the second telescopic box modules of the sub-derrick base.

EFFECT: technical result is to enable the sub-derrick base to be moved above the wellhead equipment.
