SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to systems and a method for installing a rig in an operational position. Drilling rig installation system includes, in an operational position, a landing shoe of the tower fixedly attached to the sub-base of the drilling rig, comprising: a first pin joint, a lower section of the rig of a drilling rig comprising a second pin connection configured to articulate to the first pin joint of the tower support shoe, and a tower installation device attached to the sub-base of the drilling rig and pivotally attached to the lower section of the rig. Device for installing the tower in the working position has a first end and a lower support tower of the tower. Support tower of the tower has a first end that is pivotally attached to the lower section of the tower. Tower installation device is configured to hinge the lower section of the tower so that the second pin connection of the lower tower section is located close to the first pin joint of the tower support shoe. Tower installation device is retractable so as to pivotally rotate the lower support tower of the tower. Pivoting lower support leg is configured to lift at least the lower end of the lower tower section and the rotary installation of the second pin joint of the lower tower section adjacent to the first pin joint of the tower support shoe.

EFFECT: technical result is the provision of new design solutions and methods for assembling and / or disassembling modern mobile drilling rigs without the use of a crane.
