FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical-thermal treatment of heat-resistant alloys and can be used in machine building. Method for local protection of a product from a heat-resistant alloy from gas aluminizing involves shielding the parts of the article by applying to its surface 5–10 layers of a protective ceramic coating based on electrocorundum, which is subjected to sintering in an oxidizing medium at a temperature of 950–1050 °C after application .
EFFECT: improved reliability of local product protection from gas aluminizing is provided.
