FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: to obtain a mesoporous nanostructured metal oxide film by electrostatic spraying, the sprayed material is placed in a container with an outlet. A dry nanocrystalline titanium dioxide powder with an average particle size of 25 nm is used as a sprayed material. A solid substrate is grounded, which is used as glass, quartz, ceramics with a conductive coating or metal. The sprayed material is fed through the outlet to form a stream of the sprayed material. A potential difference between the outlet and the solid grounded substrate is applied. The resulting film of titanium dioxide is treated with 10% acetic acid. Heat treatment is performed at a temperature of 400-450°C for 30-40 minutes.

EFFECT: invention allows to simplify the mesoporous nanostructured metal oxide film, to improve the adhesion of the film to the substrate surface, to increase the efficiency of a solar cell using this film as a photoelectrode to create a metal oxide sensitized solar cells.
