FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method of measuring composition and concentration of impurities in low-polarity liquids comprises stages at which alternating voltage of alternating frequency in the range from 10 Hz to 1 mhz is supplied to its electrodes after filling of the inter-electrode space of the measuring sensor with investigated liquid, and its spectral characteristic is measured. For this purpose, electric capacitance of the measuring sensor is determined in the investigated liquid in case of step change of the frequency. The pitch of the frequency variation is determined depending on frequency range. The working frequency is determined for which purpose a base frequency of transducer signal is measured without its connection to the measuring sensor and the reference capacitor, the reference frequency of converter signal with reference capacitor connected thereto and frequency of the converter signal with the measuring sensor connected thereto. The capacitance of the sensor in liquid under test is determined on the basis of the measured frequencies.

EFFECT: reduced time and increased accuracy for determination of dielectric parameters in measured medium, simplified hardware component.
