FIELD: animal breeding.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to light industry. Claw sharpener for cats contains a claws sharpening unit (1), made of vertically arranged corrugated cardboard strips (3), located inside the packing box (2). Packing box (2) is made in the form of a transformer box designed to form the working position of the claw sharpener for storing, transporting and operating of the claws sharpening unit (1). Claws sharpening unit (1) is made in the form of a panel (5) having the form of a flattened parallelepiped with a working surface (4) for claws sharpening. Vertically oriented by the end parts strips of corrugated cardboard (3) are adjacent to each other by their sides. Panel width is chosen to be equal to 1–2 times the width of the cat body average size. Panel length is 0.5–1.5 of the length of the cat body average size. Ratio of the panel width to its length is 0.2–0.4. Ratio of the panel thickness to its length is 0.05–0.1. Transformer box is made in the form of a flat parallelepiped from a material with the addition of a catmint. Upper panel (5) is a hinged cover. On the upper panel (5) along its perimeter and perpendicular to the longitudinal side at an equal distance from each other, the perforation lines (7) are made for the free separation of the upper panel (5) from the body and the formation of a voluminous stand-stop (8) for the claws sharpening unit (1), designed to form the claws sharpener working position. On the upper panel (5) inner surface adhesive tapes (9) are fixed. At the end of the box-transformer in its central part the valve-suspension (10) is made.

EFFECT: providing expansion of the product functional capabilities due to the modernization of the design and changes in overall dimensions and enhancement of safety measures when used.
